I did it! '69

Hi everyone! I finally pulled the trigger and bought my dream 60's car, a 1969 Charger. I've been thinking about buying a classic car for years and with my wife's approval I finalized it today. I found this one locally from guy who lives in my town.... What are the chances since I was dead set on a triple black '68 or '69.  I'm grinning from ear to ear that it's sitting in my garage 
It's not an R/T, but the previous owner put the stripes and badging on. Not sure how I feel about it, but I'll live with it for a while before I decide whether to keep or not. It's a numbers matching 383 2bbl, but is currently running a 750 Edelbrock 4bbl. Again not sure how I feel about the the 750 but we'll see...
Anyway just wanted to say "hi" and will have many questions as I embark on this journey

Nice looking car.  Personally, I would take the RT stuff off, or at least make sure the car was running with RT equipment.  Above all, enjoy the car and drive it...

I would leave it the way it is since it looks great, of course i'm not a purist either I don't get too caught up on "if it doesn't match what it says on the fender tag type thing" just as long as you don't try to pass it off as a real R/T. I say build it the way you would have wanted to order it back in the day if you had the chance to do it.

   I love it the way it is.  But, it is your car.  You decide what you like, and then do it.  Enjoy that great looking car.  Mine is not an RT either, and its a 70 with a 68 stripe. As I say, your car, you decide.
