Just bought a 68 Coronet 440 yesterday and thought I would include some pics for you crazy bastich's :icon_smile_wink:  The body is in pretty good shape, there is a little rust, but nothing huge.  The dash cap is cracked up, but the dash itself is in pretty good shape.  The headliner and rest of the upholstery are pretty much shot.  Has new brakes and wheel bearings.  318 runs good.  This is going to become a 383 Superbee clone.  The engine and tranny are already waiting  :yesnod:  Picked it up for $3k...hope I didn't overspend too much :-\

The Pics:

Looks like a score from where I'm sitting. The body looks a little wavy but solid. I went to a flea market in CT this weekend and saw a total POS 69 RR for $3500. The quarters had been cut off, the trunk didn't exist and on and on. I'd say you did extremely well at 3k. :yesnod:

Very nice!!!

Not bad for $3k!!

As long as the body is straight like this one, interior is not that expensive to do!!

I have a soft spot for the '68 Coronet's.  My first Mope was a '68 RT.  Love those tailights.

69 Our/Tea...that thing is absolutely gorgeous :o  How old is that resto?  I would love to hear more about it, and more pictures would be good too :yesnod:  I never considered going original with this car...but after seeing yours, maybe we will.  It is for my Dad, as the 68 Coronet is his favorite Mopar.  My brother has a 68 Fury and I have a 68 Charger, so I think you can tell what our favorite year is  ;D

:iagree: It cracks me up at how many different ways people think of to hold up a saggy headliner. :smilielol:

Nice score Volk, I like it!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Schuler

Very nice looking car. I really like the red on it too. Is it going to stay red as a bee?

Great find, Coronet 440.  I like those cars a lot.      Looks in pretty good shape to me.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.
