The guy ran a lousy 14.38 E.T. then saw it for sale in VEGAS!!!  He wanted 10k for it..saids he was pissed it ran so slow....got a Camaro.  I actually got to talk him claims to have 700HP flywheel and roughly 550RWHP.   I laughed in my head at him

Kudos to you for having the balls to run that beautiful car.  You'd have been in the 13's but you and the other car lagged off the line.  And did you run a different tire in the back?  For dragging I would've switched to a 15" wheel and a stickier tire...

it was for fun myk....my trunk was full of tools roughly 50lbs worth, my clothing luggage, it had everything I brought when I drove it from Phoenix to Vegas, lmao.  No the tires were bald I was not shooting for a good E.T. I just wanted to have fun.  Based on my interaction with a lot of the pit guys who were veterans doing this and they said I have a 10sec car if I switched to 15inch rims or 17 and run some 4.10s back there....but they were happy to see a old classic as a street car

There are so many places this combo is off it isn't funny, not the least of which was the driver. But, not surprising he wants to sell since he succumbed to the mentality of bolt on all the biggest and shiniest parts and expecting a beast in return. Doesn't always happen that way. If he really wants $10k for it, that is the freaking steal of the decade!!

Of course, looking at his 99 mph trap speed and given its Vegas, I'd guess his rwhp is sub 300, not 550.  Not too impressive for a blown mill.

There are a lot of aspects to this hobby and people tend to gravitate to the aspect they like the most, e.g - paint, shows, cruising, socializing,  restoring, swaps, and some even care about the "muscle" part of muscle cars, but not many anymore.  This is an example of what happens when the other guys go to the track.  Although it has been awhile,  I've been to a lot of Mopar Classic and Mopar Nationals events and watched 95 out of 100 street guys run 14+ second ets.  More painful is listening to them tell everyone that it make 500 hp and could run 11s with better tires, which is never the case.

Im still trying to figure out why it only trapped 99mph? Even dogging off the line, missing 3rd and lifting early it should be way higher. His trap speed vs et says it was wide open. Hmmmm. Is their more to the story you could enlighten us to? I am curious.

lmao...theres lots to the story the car was not even tuned I had only a month and half to get the blower on....still spent 2k more on top of everything and then fine tuning while having a full time job, 4 kids, etc...its tough, but hey im not making excuses im getting out there and having fun.  OH the DRIVER is a BAD driver also!!!!!!
knocked out 15 degrees of timing also to play it safe.....it could of been more violent run, but I didn't want to break anything.

The car runs rich as a PIG!!!  I have a dash cam where it lugged so bad off the line that the car wanted to stop running.  Im not a drag racer by far, but I have run 12.80 on the same motor with new tires, better reaction time, etc...everything was perfect then.  

Watch the first min. and half and watch that boost gauge off the line it ran it FAT and wanted to die out.

Oh my car has 800HP and is better than anyones on here im here to HELP everyone    naw...I like to have fun....as most folks know me on here sometimes we take things way too serious with our cars. 

Im HAPPY AS HELL WITH MY CAR EVEN WITH MY 20INCH RIMS IN THE BACK IF I REALLY CARED KERN DOG I would have tried to lease everyone on this board and keep changing the car up.....

People dogged me on this forum awhile back for even thinking 18s in fronts and 20s in rears so now my car is considered, 'cool' yeah ok.....so its my way of reminding people not to dog each other on the forum.....when I casually dog myself on here and have fun....people gotten lighten up
