Hi all . I've tried saving some "favorites" and I have about 10 and it seems like it won't save anymore. Tried importing but no go. What gives? Is there a limit?

What browser are you using?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I use Firefox and "bookmarks" with no issues.

poppa

John , IE w/Microsoft edge.

Now I'm used to 10, not the worst thing.....

I don't think there is a limit.  Are you sure you're hitting the correct icon?  If I remember, they changed it from the star icon we're used to.

poppa

The star is suppose to be to save ,the 3 little lines to access.

Yes then click on "add to favorites" at the top of the drop down menu.  We use I E at work, but run Win. 7 there.

poppa

That's what I do. No go. If I go to settings/favorites/import from another browser , all I ever get is Bing.

Edge is a completely different program than IE.  You can eliminate Edge (shut it off), and return to IE, without getting rid of Windows 10.

Edge is not a requirement and it might well be the problem.  Multiple third party programs don't play well with Edge.  We killed Edge after a day of headaches, and got IE back as the permanent browser.  Don't ask me how it's actually done as we had help.

Same with Bing, you can kill it off and return to Google.

In IE (don't know what method is in Edge), go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Manage Add-Ons, Search Programs, Bing, select Disable in the line for Search Suggestions, then Close, and Bing is shut-off.

That's what I did, then imported all my favorites from W7.
