One of the reasons I got into Mopars back in the early 80's was I thought it was cool that you could have ordered a rig up any way you wanted.

Seems to be forgotten nowadays with all the unscrupulous people.

I would not be surprised if the 999 cars were sent to Creative Industries to be painted. Chrysler still out sources low production & special order cars today. LEON.

NOT A CHANCE!!  LOGISTICALLY COST PROHIBITIVE

Not when you add a $1,500 Destination charge to the bill like they did with the Hellcats. That way you pay for it not Chrysler. LEON.

I noticed it has the "Deluxe Restraint System", option code C15, which gives different seat belt pieces as well as a time delay "Fasten Seat Belt" light on dash. I think this would not be a common option... or would I be mistaken?

I've got that on my stripped, rusted, junky '70 500.  :Twocents:

There were 490 '70 500s with C15.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Correction. $995.00 Destination charge.

6bblgt

usually destination charges are figured as shipping from Detroit (based on weight or additional handling), all I could find for a 2015 Hellcat was

to PA & IL $995
to ON $1695 (but I'm sure most of that has to do with pricing in CAN$ vs. US$)

WAG that's the same destination charge for any Challenger to the same region (NOT Hellcat specific).

Dodge Don

Funny....those Challengers are all built at the Brampton Ontario Canada Assembly plant and it costs $1695 to ship it to a dealer a few blocks away :o

6bblgt

same as it was in 1970 .....

you have access to a number of authentic '70 Charger window stickers, check the destination charges for a car shipped to Detroit VS. one shipped to St. Louis - Detroit will be less $$ & the Chargers were all built in St. Louis.

I know. If you were in California you got the high hard one.
