Very cool! I'm still a good 8 or 10 months away from putting it in permanently (I hope)
When your students get closer to the point of making your crossmember,  let me know if you would like to borrow the plywood crossmember template? I'll be glad to ship it up to you.
Good luck with your great project I'm sure the students are having a blast building it!!
