 :2thumbs:  That's cool CBR.   :2thumbs:
Been a while since we've been to the races.  We're only spectators wearing goggles getting pelted with dirt.
Looks like you did very well until the dirt covered the camera.    :2thumbs:

Thanks for sharing.

That car looks like it would be a riot, I've always wanted to race something like that!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

heres a better video, this was my first time ever on dirt, ive always raced asphalt before. i was hooked to dirt after racing it. we had the wrong gear in the car too as you can hear the rev limiter, that was a stock 350 with big heads and cam in it spinning 7300rpm. my good engine blew up, so we slapped together a junker and surprisingly that thing ran and ran all year.  this was the first time that car ever hit the track.

fast forward to 6:00 mark

I miss going to the dirt track races every weekend when I used to live up north, our dirt track in Vegas only runs a few times a year so I have to supplement by going to the Bullring (doesn't compare to dirt IMO) or head over into Cali or down into Arizona if I wanna watch some good dirt racing.

I too miss going to the Watsonville Speedway, now called Ocean Speedway I think. It's probably one of the best tracks I've ever been to. The figure 8 was on the edge of your seat racing, although I think they have since stopped it though.

Man they were some good times...

Mohave valley raceway?

chargerbr549

Went to Mohave Valley Raceway couple times last year, go to Pahrump once in a while, I like to hit Bakersfield Speedway  they generally have a good car count and some pretty good racing there. There are several dirt tracks around Phoenix area and to the south, I've been to Peoria and the track in Tucson but have yet to check out Queen Creek, Casa Grand and Yuma tracks. If I didn't have to work for a living and had lots of cash I would most likely have a dirt modified and be playing in the dirt once in a while.
