Ok so basically I've been wanting to rebuild a 69 charger from ground up! Only problem is I don't just want to buy all new panels so are there any blueprints out there that show me how to rebuild them from ground up fabrication with out buying new replacement panels I mean I need all parts with the measurements ect! Thank you!

Having helped build a homebuilt airplane, I can honestly say this is quite the daunting task, that is building a vehicle from nothing but plans.  Unfortunately, I doubt that any blue prints exist for a 2nd gen Charger or Challenger.  I think it'd be in your best interest to buy an existing vehicle project, and start there.  First, you'd be saving another one of our favorite vechiles.  Second, depending on the vehicle, can be challenging enough in having to fabricate one off patch panels.  And finally, if there is something that you can't make or have a hard time making, more than likely you can buy the piece instead, and save you some headaches.  Have a read on here.  You'll find several members here that bought a car, stripped it down to little more than a couple pieces of metal, and are in the process of making them cars again.

Before I forget, welcome to the site.

The longer the project the bigger chance of loosing interest and running out of steam. Ask me how I know.

Ya I wish I could find one thats why I want the blueprints incase any parts are missing I can just fabricate my own. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask considering the fact that amd makes reproduction parts and have all the plans and drawings ect it made me think that the drawings must be online somewhere. Maybe even Chrysler still has the blueprints?? And thank you! I look foward to posting pics of my soon to be project aha!

Chrysler itself won't be of much help.  They have a bad habit of going bankrupt & scrapping all their old tooling & paperwork.

Hmm so what's my next choice? I mean should I just straight up call amd and ask them for a copy of blueprints? And if even that it won't be free nor would they even give them away. But might as well try right?

AMD made most of their parts by copying NOS or good condition originals I believe. I'd say there's a 99.99999% chance that they'll never give up any of their intellectual property. You are basically asking them for all their hard work so you can make a competing product (yes, even if you only ever make 1 for yourself). And I have to ask... AMD parts aren't that expensive. What justification is there in hand forming every panel? Is your labor (and all the tools required) really worth pennies per hour? I could see it on a car where no parts are available (something like maybe a coach build 1930s car) but we're talking about a popular, mass produced vehicle with lots of available parts.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I just think it's good fabrication experience really. So if amd did take the measurements from originals how did they measure all the pieces out?

If you have to ask that..........

Don't know - but all this sheet metal is stamped so they had to have something to create the tooling. Some of the more complicated stampings are likely multiple steps so they'd have had to reverse engineer the factory process.

& IIRC the modern sheetmetal pieces are made in hydroform dies & therefore different than originals in numerous ways

AMD would be crazy to give away what they've invested millions of dollars in. Not going to happen.

Why not find a rusty Charger project pile and start with that ?
You will get a chance to build lots of parts
You will have a real ownership papers to build on and have something when done that may never of had a chance before
