I stumbled upon an interesting article about a Daytona that was rolled over, getting restored. (hopefully not a repost)

What about this?

QuoteWhat is known is that the car was one of just five built with a wing center section made of solid aircraft-grade aluminum, and that even the hollow-center spoilers were capable of supporting more than a little weight—a few hundred pounds of down force or a daring owner or two, anyway.

I also noticed that, first time I heard that too. I purchased one of these "solid center section" daytona wings in the mid 80's out of Dallas. I certainly "thought" I was buying an original wing after I spoke to the seller, but he did not claim it was one of five!
Or is that now one of six? :D

Saw that quote.   There were a lot of solid horizontals in the group of cars that the vin sequence start with 9B381xxx and 9B386xxx.
Caution.... Low flying aircraft.
