tan top

link don't work for me  , but if they are what I think they are  , I've seen them on the market for years ,  you look through the plug to see the color of the combustion explosion , to tell how rich or lean the motor is  ,  cant see how you would see what color at wide  open throttle  ;)  think they are more for the motor cycle guys  :scratchchin:  , if its not the product ive described , ignore what ive just said  :icon_smile_blackeye:

Mopar Nut

I've seen it used on Chasing Classic Cars by roger.

A383Wing

doesn't appear to be available over here, just overseas

can't see any advantage to getting this, they say it's only for tuning at idle...how does that equate to the running of our cars going down the road? Does it come with a little guy to look through the tool while he's under the hood going down the freeway??

We used them 30 years ago. TR3/4/6's and other English cars, TVR/Jag. have multiple side draft carbs. They are a pain in the butt but one way to help calibrate/match idle on more than one carburetor. (Especially a set oil dampened carbs.) With an inline 4 or 6 visibility is not the issue any V engine would give.
Mostly useful when hot rodding/race prepping something like my retired S.C.C.A. racer TR4 with a Sig Erickson cam and dual DCOE Weber carbs where you had no factory calibration/settings to even start with. (As each cylinder had it's own separate "Barrel") It's a case of something is better than nothing tech for a small specialized shop without or before any modern equipment.  :2thumbs: I got a kick just seeing it's available still!
As you see mostly a U.K. available thing for that reason, I still miss my old TR's! (Even my 7 was a hoot!)   :yesnod:
