 MY best guess as to year ,looking at Ford pickup in back lot 73-76 ford just befor ugly 77 grill??

    66-67 chev II against a poss. 440-426 C-5oo,,?? wonder who won the turkey or the ?? garbage getter II??

That picture brought back a memory from 40+ years ago.  When I was young and stupid,(now I'm old and stupid!) I saw my first 69 Charger 500.  It was beige in color and belonged to a guy named Skeet Russel, who owned Russel's Texaco in Norwalk Ct.  He was into drag racing, but I don't know if he raced the 500 or not. I at the time was driving a 66 Charger, my first car.
The look of Skeet's Charger with the flush grill gave me an idea of trying to mount the grill flush on my 66. (as I said, I was young and stupid!).  Didn't work. I more or less messed up my 66 and the headlight covers never worked right again.
        Maybe someone else may remember Skeet and recall his beige 500  WINGNUT426
