hi all any ideas on this part and location were its fitted

looks like a wire harness holder. you bolt it down behind the dash, then lay the harness in it and bend the black piece around the harness to hold it in place. but I'm not 100% on this. hopefully someone else will chime in

I think that's the one that goes next to the alternator like Tan Top posted.  Non AC cars have a U shaped bracket to hold the hoses and AC cars have this one to keep the hoses from hitting the belt.  I think...
