Kool April Nites

I just moved to Redding, CA and found out this week that they have a car show/drive-in called Kool April Nites. Anyone ever been to this event? According to the guys at work, thousends of classic cars/hot rods show up. At least on my 2-mile drive home today I saw two Cudas (70, 71) a 66 GTO, 70 or 71 Camaro, a couple late 70's Mustangs, and some hot rods.

I'll carry my camera around and try to post some pics.

I wish my '68 Charger was running so I can contribute another Mopar to the streets (Next year); for now my '73 F-250 will have to do.

Yes, I've been to this show many times.  It is a very good show.  Hopefully it doesn't get rained out this year.  I've seen some really nice Mopars there.  It has a nice variety of street rods, 50s cars, 60s, & 70s cars, & race cars.  Most of what you will see there is custom street rods.  I have some pics somewhere around my house from past years.  I'll see if I can dig some up later.

yep! it used to be real common to see a few muscle cars on the street,  anymore it is a real treat.

The cruise lasted for 1.5 hours of the scheduled 2 hours. It started to rain in buckets and hasn't stopped. There were a few Chargers there.
