Guys, I joined this forum because I LOVE the Charger. Way back 41 years ago, my cousin let me drive her 69 R/T 4 speed for two weeks. So, I was...hooked.

But kids/family/divorce/life/health and all that get in the way of a car........so...I may never own one. But....about 15+ years ago, I was at a Mopar show that I put on. (A friend and I would put on several Mopar shows at the 50s Diner in Sarasota). So as I'm admiring a 68 Charger, he hands me the keys and said "take it for a spin". (I know him just a little bit).
Are you sure,? Yep, so, I took a short 15 min spin in his 68 charger, by myself. ahhh yes..the memories....

So anyway, after a real bout of depression a few years back, I got on the stick.
In the last two years, I have.....

Put a new A/C in the house...and insulation..
A new roof (and pricey $14K)
New bathroom I did myself, and was it work!!!
And now, new siding, doing this myself too....I'm painting the entire house after the new siding is done. I figure that will take me two months....
And I still eyeball the prices of Chargers. About twice a year, a 'deal' comes up.
So who knows, after the house is done (I have been here 28 years), there still may be a Charger in the garage! Never give up!!!

Stories about a Charger will be more interesting than those about new siding. Time to be selfish.

Polygon.

I was heavy into mopars in the 80's, got married, kids, house bills etc...

Got back into it with a Duster....met some local mopar guys through it at shows and whatever...and ended up with my 70 charger through a friend of a friend.

So you might go that route, the cars are out there but they are rarely advertised for sale. Sometimes it's just a guy who says to someone; "I'm thinking of selling my Charger, know anybody?"

Good luck-!
