remote starter switch

Do to my age, I need to wire in a remote starter switch. What I  need to know is where do I connect the wires on the starter relay,  what size wire do I use? Do I use a in line fuse?  What size or amp switch should I use? The ignition switch is not working and I am to old to lay down and replace it.

Are you sure its the ignition switch .It could be neutral safety switch

Pretty sure it is the ignition switch. I did replace the nss.

Ifyou dont need the ign circuit for run .You just need battery power red positive to heavy brown wire from starter at relay to get cranking over

10 12 gauge wire  should be ok  go from battery term on starter relay to heavy brown wire from starter at relay.basically same connection you use for a hand held held bump switch
