I have one, out of my 4 Mopar doors that sits about 1/8" low on the body line. Is it best raised by using the hinge to door shell bolts or the hinge to body bolts behind the fender???

Door pins are fine with no wear or door rock... door gap is even, just sits low front and back!

Thanks!

if its a b-body there is no up & down movement on the hinge to door ,   up & down   movement  by hinge bolts to a A post / pillar only  ,

Thanks, saw that thread after I posted. Was hoping there was a bit of a slot in the hinge to door mounts to raise it easily vs trying to get at the other bolts. Drivers door on my 'Bird.

there is a tiny amount  few thousandths , if you  leave one bolt in the top hinge & one in bottom  ,  BUT   once you put the other bolts back in  ,  the hinge only really goes in one position ! ,

the hinge bolts can be reached from inside the  fender / wheel well  , after removing the rear splash shield ,  , its the  inner  bolts are a problem    ,    need to remove lower kick panel & instrument cluster , you might just be able to , get a socket on the upper bolt with a , assortment of extension bars &  universal joints , but factor in how tight the bolt might be ,  imo best take the  cluster out .

Okay THANKS!

Will give that a whirl over the winter after I get on my first project that is going to be stripping down the chrome, grill, bumpers, Ramcharger hood, etc off of my 'Bee and pulling the drive train and sending it for strip and paint. I can get the 'Bird all back in order while the 'Bee is out getting new clothes!  :yesnod:

Guess I should have put this thread in Body and Paint..

Checked the gaps today. The drivers door, although it looks like more, is only 1/16 low. The top of the vent window frame is 3/16 from the upper trim. Passenger side vent frame is 1/8" from trim. This would suggest I'll have no issues with it if I can get the drivers door to come up the 1/16 or so to make the body line perfect between fender / door / quarter.

Rear window rolled up tight looks like it has just enough clearance, if I raise the door 1/16, that it won't catch the rear window when closing the door.

Thanks again for the help.

yeah I see what your saying ,   :scratchchin:      , think I would ,   adjust the door  & get it dialled  in to your liking  , then see where the glass gaps alignment  /adjustment   are at .  by  lifting the door up , & the glass is adjusted correctly in the first place , you might run in into trouble with the rear top touching & getting stuck under ,the upper top roof rail  , see A picture below  , also  the rear side glass may  touch at  B , in the second picture ,   first !  , before rear glass is fully up ( the glass gap in the inside should be parallel ) ( I took these pictures of mine ,  easier for me to explain with pictures etc  :P ) ,  no biggie to put right  , but  requires rear side glass  up stops to be adjusted , may be the in & out , adjustment  too .

THANKS!

My effort right now is to find window hardware for my '69 Bee Coupe. Going to need the little plastic pin "guide" that goes in the hole in the window and the plastic wear / guide strip on the back side of the Vent frame. I've found all the roof rail, vent window and pop out window rubbers seals, but can't find where to get this window hardware.
