Is there a sleeve or spacer of some kind that should go between the mounting bracket and the decklid?  How do you prevent the pedestals from dimpling the decklid outer skin when they are snugged up?

Yeah the Go Wing Jim.  I found one photo online and it appears there is a sleeve of some sort there?

I don't have a B-Body with a Go-Wing.....but here is an article showing an install on a '71. Let me know if this helps.

Hi Ghoste

There's no sleeve, the mounting area and rubber gasket has more than enough area to dissipate the stress evenly. I had no problems at all with mine...and think it looks pretty cool on a 3rd Gen!  :yesnod:


Just 6T9 CHGR

70 Chargers had a different deck lid cut out for support braces for the spoiler :Twocents:
