I will be running 4 wheel disc brakes next time the car is back on the road...which is not until spring probably.  I am getting new front brake lines but I'm not sure which to get.  I need a new booster as I had the drum booster on mine and I'm not sure which to get either.  I'd like a direct bolt on so either an original Bendix or something aftermarket.  What would you guys recommend?  Money is tight so it is a factor.  If anyone has a funcional booster for sale please pm me.  I can make it look pretty again myself.

Since these disc boosters are bigger than the drum booster I guess I need the disc lines so the lines for the master match up with the distribution block.  I found Right Stuff RKT6806 but it doesn't mention if the passenger side line runs over or under the frame rail.  My drum line ran over the frame.  Does anyone know which path it follows?

I would call Cass at Dr Diff (http://www.doctordiff.com/brakes). Great guy, very knowledgable, has everything you need and won't try rip you off.  You will need to widen the hole in your fire wall for the disc booster.  I do not believe you need larger lines, I had 4 power drums and put front discs on without switching lines and works fine.  Just make sure you have the 2 res MC.

FYI, the Right Stuff rear disc kit requires you to run green bearings so be careful there.

Thanks I'll shoot him a message.  I'll be using the Scarebird kit so I'll be able to reuse the stock bearings.  I have a new MC which I bought when I planned on discs up front only so I'm not sure if it works on 4 wheel discs.  Looking at the cost of a new booster and possibly a new master, I'm thinking maybe I should spend the extra and go hydroboost afterall.  I'll have to sell some stuff first though.  Students don't make much.   :icon_smile_big:
