Aftermarket AC compressor mounting angle issues (adding CAA AC)

I have the ac compressor brackets I think are these. http://www.bouchillonperformance.com/inc/sdetail/467/567 They BPE's name on them anyway. The compressor will either have the oil plug straight up or 90* off.  2 problems I'm running into.  1. The compressor has a tag on it and so does the CAA kit stating the oil plug cannot set at 90* or beyond as it will void warranty and cause the compressor to fail.  2. Running the ports straight up shown on the pic of my compressor just don't work right for routing the hoses with those fittings they give.  They'll work good if its rotated 90* counter clockwise.  I seen pictures of some rotated like that and was wondering how it worked out for problems.  It's not able to rotate just 45*  Can those bolts on the end be loosened and the cap rotated itself?  Any pics of yours would be appreciated.

If I used those ends on mine it sticks up too far with 4bbl breather.  Maybe later with the 6bbl eng to be built.

looks like you will need to turn the compressor so the fittings are on the side.

Yep but that gives me problem #1.  I sent CAA an email for solution suggestions.

I've got mine angled to the side with no issues. My instructions just said to not have the port upside down?

HI,

If it is a true Sanden compressor the rear port plate can be "clocked " or rotated to get the ports and oil plug etc. into the right position. I would contact Classic Air to find out how that is done, it might require a new port plate.

I had to have CAA make me a special hose with a different port location so it wouldn't interfere with my distributor.
If you look at the bottom of the image, you'll see they put a port there for me and the one near the compressor they had to straighten. (Actually should have done more but it works).

I have mine with the ports facing the passenger fender as well without issues.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I wish I had got my condenser to exit on the p-side but they wouldn't let me mix match it up as a kit for ac & non ac.  I'm going to get a 45* fitting for my compressor to replace the straight for the same reason.  I also had to get them to replace the smaller condenser tube as it was made defective from their vendor.
