Oh man, if I had that car, I'd give it a good sanding, a rattle can paintjob, and drive it just as you are.  :2thumbs:

A near mint 142,000 mile 2002 Mercedes CLK200 Kompressor ....a blown 1.8 which I believe you don't get in the states..and it's the rare 6 speed manual version. A 1999 Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor auto with only 83,000 on the clock. A WJ shape 2004 Grand Cherokee 2.7CRD diesel...again one you don't get. And, until recently a 2002 Suzuki GSXR1000K2.....until a lady pulled out in front in a Volvo and totalled it which resulted in a seven hour emergency operation to save my left arm and left me with four titanium plates and sixty screws along with slight weakness in that arm. All good fun though!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

I didn't think I would like this before we bought it, but it is one of the best vehicles we have had. Comfortable and loaded, I love it ... I getting spoiled with all the gadgets!

My daily driver is my '06 Ranger 4x4. All stock except for a T-bar crank, 33's, and Rancho shocks. My street/strip fun car is my '03 Mustang GT. Its a 12.0 car with full interior, CD player, cruise, etc. and a little N/A 4.6. Yes, they are the same color, and no, I didn't plan it that way. I bought both of them when they were each a year old about 3 years apart and that's just how it played out... :icon_smile_big:

My 1969 Dodge Charger that I bought after the wrecked white one has been sitting the past 4 years slooooooowly getting work done to it. Waiting on the floors to be done so I can drive it once again, can't say I haven't been patient with my friend about it (not like he isn't getting paid for it).

ANYWAY.

It's been a while since I posted, and I'm sure I made a post about it, but I forget, so I'm gonna repeat-I bought a 1973 Dodge Charger out of Georgia on a whim. Was looking on Autotempest just for fun, and the price was low...and I got it for even lower, my first Charger was a '73 and I always thought maybe of getting another one someday, and here we are. It's been my ratty fun driver, grocery getter, don't worry about it, and I've used it in photo shoots as well, I think it's photogenic. It's had the vector wheels from the '69 for a while. The black front driver's side fender is a franken-fender made from different fenders after a deer decided to kamikaze itself slamming into it early last year. Yeah I'm a magnet for crap happening to me in my cars, what can I say! I had no idea what a hassle it was going to be to look for another fender. I plan to paint all of it flat black, get a fiberglass bulge hood, and if anyone has 71-72 hidden headlights with the motor, holler at me.
