What a shame. Judging by the lack of damage on the hood, he hit something very low and very hard.

That sucks, although it looks like there are some good parts still available.  Hopefully they will go to restore many more.

That was on EBAY last month. Whoever bought it sure didn't get much quality time with the car before it got creamed. Sad.

Looks like someone was driving from the steering wheel, I hope they are OK.  And no one else was hurt.

It also looks like the mileage on that at was 93790 and on the odometer 93812 - so not driven much since those ads.

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Aside from the grille, I have the parts to save that car...
Too bad I need them in case I do something stupid and need them for myself...

Baldwinvette77

This is a good project car for those people who prefer body damage to rust  :coolgleamA:

Also in the pristine pictures does it look like the drivers fender doesn't match the rear 2/3's of the car?

Kern Dog

That could be the lighting in the studio, but it does look like the fender is a darker color.

Was still a very nice charger, so sad to see it in this kind of shape now!! :rotz: It may not have been a perfect car, I know mine isn't but I would hate to see that happen to mine or anybody's old charger!! That had to have been a pretty bad crash to do that much damage, like said above hopefully the driver and if any passenger's are ok!!

hemi68charger

Wow !!! What a job happened to that poor car... Looks like the passengers were protected well enough with all that American metal... Whew....

If you look at the pictures of the front frame area by the torsion bar area you can see flat plate steel welded all over, no wonder the car folded so easy!

What does that mean?  A badly done previous repair?

Do you mean this from the sellers site?

Such a shit job on repairing the frame rails!!! That plate was just tack welded to the rails.

Another perfumed pig.

Any news on the driver?  That looks really painful.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Looked like a nice car until I saw underneath...wow what a shit job, kills me that people try and sell shit that was slopped together.....

I still can't believe the crap repair. At least if you are going to do an ugly repair weld it up good and  make it solid. You could also invest in a can of chassis black to make it look descent. And I thought I was a butcher

Holy crap!!! What a sh!t frame rail repair job. What the "F" is wrong with people out there passing this crap off as a way of fixing badly rusted areas. :flame:

GT

:eek2:  Nasty...  Only two bolts holding that trans crossmember in.

Likely is the car folded driving it and that is what caused the wreck.  :-\

WTF....wow..it almost like the guy wanted to die or wreck the car.....insurance money probably paid more than what its worth based on that build......my car maybe ugly to a lot of people, but my undercarriage I tell ya is CLEAN!!!!
