I watched a show and Mark kept saying to his Daughter "you came from my loings" real mature to tell his Daughter this over and over. :brickwall:

This season has been pretty decent, but the episode you mention was a step backword for sure. I think that's the real Mark though.
man you are being paid by mark right  !!!!!

The show is slightly better than before the personnel change.
I am happy that there is a Mopar show out there. Every time I watch the show, I get motivated to do something to my long time project road runner. So from that view point it is a good thing the show is on television.

I hope we get to see more of that Charger too!  BTW....Engines built in '67 for the '68 model year did not have VIN numbers. This started with engines built in '68 for the '69 model year.

1968 engines and transmissions did have the vin on them,
the engines and automatic transmissions just had them in a different location then the 1969 and newer engines and automatics,
up top on the rear of the motor where it meets the transmission or bellhousing, a little towards the drivers side

What I wanna know, Whatever happened to them restoring the movie General Lee jump car they were going to show this last season?  :shruggy:

My guess is its not Politically correct any more for them to show it on TV, I've sent them at least a dozen messages their way about it and no response.

Guess they lack the TV show car restoration skills.

Charger-Bodie

They probably would have sent it to amd anyway.

I believe later '68 models had the VIN on the trans and engine, but early '68 run did not.  This was not mandated until '69 model year.

Still staged though , Alyssa stealing the 08 SRT Chally for a joyride ? BS !!!! Last name still Rose , wedding ring on her finger , divorced from Josh ??? Derens old Chally getting restored , sold it to one of Marks clients ????
The 440-6 FC7 Chally they just aired , said going back to East Coast , to Ct . That's where I live , we have a lot of Mopar shows here during the season , will be interesting to see it out at some shows in person , curious to see with my own eyes how nice it is .

ACUDANUT

According to Buzzard Beak (Mark), 66-67 Chargers all had numbers to verify weather it was all original Hemi car or not.  :brickwall:

I watched the episode last Wednesday with the Gorgeous 70 Charger, did I hear correctly that there was over 10 coats of paint on it? I thought he said it needed 10 coats to cover the first time when it was in pieces and he was spraying the test card, then they assembled it again and painted it again (not sure why, but probably since its a metallic and to blend it), but I didn't catch how many coats the second time around, so I guessed another 5  :shruggy:

Wouldn't that compromise the body lines/accents that the Charger has? Im about to paint mine in a few months with a metallic that already has a reputation for poor coverage (PPG Omni B7 Blue) and was planning about 5 coats, but now Im worried after seeing this.

I have been watching this show since it went on the air and will say this season has been much more watchable, less BS, more tech. I still use my DVR so I can FFWD when he acts like an ass hat.
