I wanna see what types of lifts you guys have in your garages. Postem up

MaxJax, two post for low height ceilings. Goes up to 4'. As you can see, handles the B bodies well.

I rate it highly. Only drawback is the hoses can get in the way as they are too short but I believe newer versions have longer hoses now.

mally , absolutely that MaxJax that A12 showed he has is bolted to the floor .
If you are doing research for a lift , there are basically three :

2 post style
4 post (drive on )
midrise scissor lift

It depends what you are intending to do with it and your vehicles .A 2 post is all around a good lift as you can take tires off/take the rear out/front suspension/etc but you must bolt it to the floor. A 4 post is great for storage as the car sits as it does normally(without the suspension hanging for indefinite periods of time ),easy on/off for quick things like an oil change,but if you want to take wheels off , you'd have to purchase the rolling jacks that are available for all models.Also , a 4 post can be moved around as it does not need to be bolted to the floor , and is usually 110 volts ,and if your ceiling is high enough , you can park another car underneath it .
A mid rise scissor lift is great for autobody/restorations ,taking wheels off,oil changes , and collapses down to less than 4'' when done , also is 110 volt . But you won't be able to take out the trans because it is directly under the middle of the car .

Also , what ceiling height do you have ? Because if it's less than 12' , you are limited to minimal 2 posts because most are overhead cables/hydraulic lines (clear floor) .
I had the opportunity to have all three as my garage was large enough to have them , a Bend Pak 9k lb 2 post(low ceiling lift, as my ceiling height is only 10') , a Prokar (Chinese) 4 post , and a Rotary Revolution mid rise (which for doing my Charger resto , was worth every penny) .
If I had to choose one , it would be a 4 post , and purchase the rolling jacks if you want to remove wheels .

 To go with a two post , clear floor , you need 12 1/2 feet ceiling . You need a baseplate two post lift  with even still 12 foot high ceiling, the one I have is the bend pak xpr-9 . Or like the one Dixie posted . Looks like the one Dixie posted is an atlas model which I have seen in person and looks real nice. If you want American made , the bay bridge of lifts are the Mohawks , but very costly. When I checked , it was like $6-7k for a two post 9k lb. depends what and how much you are going to use it.

I don't know about those , I'd rather have one that is bolted down , no matter how much they say those are sturdy . I have had my 04 ram quad cab 4x4 with a cap on my 2post bend pak , rock solid ! The lift did'nt even know it was picking it up !  before the price increased , I think I paid $2,476 delivered.

This one seems pretty similar 111.5 total height and lifts 72 inches.

This is what my 2 post did lifting my wife's sport trac on the trial lifts. Even though the floor is 6+ inches thick and 18 year old slab, too close to the expansion cuts. So I built a truss across the top that hugs the ceiling. I've had the 3/4 ton Crew cab Sierra on it since without issue.

Oh.. and a shot of my sons Fucus on the lift with his fluke plate they issued him. I thought he got it on purpose as a hint that he was next in line to inherit mine!

Hey birds and bees  how high is ur ceiling and height of the beams on ur lift. Just curious

Ceiling is about 10' 3".. those are 9 x 9 garage doors. I have to crouch a bit to work under an SUV / truck, but a car (without a wing on it) I can pretty much stand up properly.

The truss I welded up above it is 2" x 2" x .125 tube, within a 1/4" of the ceiling.
