As many of you know, I'm no't agree on pay $300 for these stripes which seems to be printed instead made on original technique silkscreen AND incorrect color shades ( the ones made by Phoenix graphics )

THERE IS A CHANCE to make this locally on a similar price but correctly made ( this has being a slow and loooong process )

do you think it could be a market for these up there making a competition with PG ?

The stripes for the Charger are $300 if you are looking at reflective material not the standard colors. All vendors charge more for reflective material and there are many different qualities of vinyl e.g. automotive grade versus sign shop quality vinyl, cast vs. calendered quality. We use cast automotive grade vinyl.

Are you looking at shipping your decals to another country? If so you will find the shipping costs to be expensive due to export taxes and duties.

These stripes are correct and are approved and licensed by the Chrysler Corporation.

My friend I'm aware about the vinyl grade differences and the shipping cost deal... Thanks for the heads up anyway!

Long time ago I contacted you because the color shades are incorrect and told you if you were to correct that I could get them from you... didn't get responses anymore, so decided to go on my own.

I don't know If I'll get success or not, but I will try to make them better.

Chrysler could license your product but still they are incorrect color shade ( and maybe printed instead silkscreen like originals ? dunno, you tell me, never got that answer either and It seems the ink head printing trace is visible ? dunno maybe an optical ilusion ). Here a full thread discussing that and making comparisions.

ahhh, this is very interesting now. The color on the pictures in the other thread looks to be quite similar to me BUT I definitely see the "silk screen" vs printed you refer to.
I will keep an eye on this thread   :popcrn:

Good luck on your project and we wish you success.

Phoenix Graphix and its employees make genuine, painstaking efforts to provide the very best product possible at an affordable price.

You will need to submit artwork and prototypes before you begin your project as these stripes are trademarked by the Chrysler corporation and they will vigorously defend their trademarks no matter where you are located. You can not simply just start making them.

We look forward to seeing what you come up with regarding this stripe kit. Also be aware you will need numerous NOS pieces in good shape for exact color matches not just one example you may have.

Regards,

thanks.

If Chrysler doesn't make them, and nobody else wants to make them correct ( really appreciatte your effort on these, but still not enough, even less for the price sorry ), somebody has to do the right job ;)

If is ilegal try to make the things right and the brand ( Mopar/Chrysler ) doesn't support their fans/customers ( what in fact never has done ) I still have the right to get the things correctly on my car... and if somebody else wants, I'll try to give a help.

So, maybe I'll be ilegal againts the consistant support fail by the brand... dunno what is worst.

If I make them correct, will contact Chrysler for this... IF REALLY THEY CARE.

The NOS stripe I have has being storaged since ever, still on their original box.

Its a shame not even Chrysler took care of the details of their own image on these.

Nacho, there are people/businesses like that in every field of business.  The stupid TV shows and ridiculous auctions for stupid money on cars isn't helping either.
But you shop, make mistakes and go on.
I can't speak for Phoenix but I have had VERY good luck with Performance Car Graphics. You should try them.
I got burned on that piece of crap repro radio ... $500 and it is awful.

I'm not saying PG is bad quality products manufacturer, just I don't like their gradated stripes and pay $300 for what I was sure was to dissapoint me is a bad idea... and they didn't pay me attention when I email them giving the heads up about the details

Need to say, I'm really amazed on how the PG ppl got the "silkscreen" patter somehow simulated on the printing process, but the printing head pass is visible on some of the pics I got
