A good '70 Charger day.....

Well, I'm pooped....... Worked on both my '70's today.. Took the 440/auto out of the 6bbl '70 (white/primer) and put it into the 4bbl '70 R/T.. Then, I took the original block, mated it up with the bellhousing and 4-speed and plugged it into the 6bbl car.. I can only imagine how long it's been since the original block has seen it's place in it's original bay..........

Had tons of help from my friends Teddy and Woody..

I've added the last pic from today's tinkering.....

Yes, that's EV2 I think in my 6bbl car.. Think someone at one time didn't like the white...............

Nice project cars. What are your plans for them? I'd  ask what was the point of doing what you did today, but at least you were able to do something to your cars vs. mine being stuck in my backyard still.
Mark

The v-code car I bought had a later model 440 and 727 in it.. The 4bbl '70 R/T I have didn't have a motor or tranny. Albeit, it's not original, it's still a 440 and a 727.... I have the original block of the six pack car on the floor. I wanted to mate up the original motor to the six pack car and the 4speed tranny I have and place them in the six pack car...  I'm getting ready to move soon and didn't want to cart alot of heavy loose parts. Sooooooo, I just put all the pieces together and stuffed them into the six pack car.... I'll be putting the 4bbl car back together more and then place the car for-sale / ebay.

Microsoft released a patch for this vulnerability so if your machine is up to date it's a non-issue. My guess is it's a false positive from Norton (in both instances) and my advice is to throw that piece of garbage in the trash. Of course, that's my opinion and it's not my computer.

FYI: the thing that Norton is freaking out about is what it thinks is incorrect data in an image. Both of the ones you identified are coming from some other site (notice the URL).

SO Troy how does that engine hoist roll on your driveway?  or did you push the car back as you went along?

Is that a portache i see? (i cant spell portastache)

Hey Paul..

No, you are correct.. I pushed and pulled the Chargers from under the hoist..... Being that we removed the engine tranny as a combined unit, I needed more "air" space and the ceiling in the garage would have probably got in the way.. It was really easy..........

Here's a fancy portacache.... Typically, it's a carport that has a regular roofline the flows into the house's roofline... Not a flat metal roof like on my carport.... In the portacache I want, it'll be as wide or wider than the existing two car garage so I can park my daily rides there and all my Chargers in the garage....
