My Toshi. Sat.crashed on the 6th so I bought a new H.P. laptop. The Toshi. was 5 years old, the H.P. crashed this AM...3 weeks old. So I wanted a tablet anyway, back to Walmart and 210 out the door I got a "NEXTBOOK Ares11". Having no smart phone I'm learning to monkey around with this little thing while I figure out what's up with the H.P. crash.
This thing can be voice controled and you shuld have seen it when I had drag racing on the TV behind me.   The knuckelheads at Mart didn't even tell me 1/2 of what it can do but I got here by yelling "dodge charger forum" at Chrome. Anyone else a newbie at this Android 5.0 stuff?  :scratchchin: (I was just getting use to the H.P. touch screen.)

Funny, my wife just bought the exact same one last week & likes it a lot. She bought 2 different ones at 2 different stores & was going to compare them & return the one she didn't like but our daughter told her to return the one that used windows 8 & keep the Android. She had to help her navigate it since it's similar to her smart phone & my wife never used one before.   :2thumbs:

PS....My daughter just said to go to google play (which is the icon next to the circle with the boxes in it) and you can download apps after you create an account for it.

wut's an app?

Maybe I need to get my daughter to sign in & help.

It's an abbreviation (app = application) & it's just a shortcut to a program you want to use.

Check this out.....

Thanks! My youngest is an IT here in town. He'll reboot the HP soon and my oldest is a rep for ATT, he's sending a smart phone to upgrade my 4 year old 9.00 Tracfone. This little thing is like a toy but seems to work fine. With the kids grown and out I figured I better learn to stay connected 2015 style.  :2thumbs:
