When attaching the instrument cluster outer Bezel to the Aluminum Housing, 3 of the screws appear to be partially stripped.
They screw in but will not snug-up.
What can be used to add to the holes to provide the function back.

I thought of filling the hole with JBweld, or epoxy, or something else.
Put the screw in until the material stiffens, then remove the screw until the material sets fully.
I don't want a permanent bond nor fill the hole completely.  Re-drilling and re-taping may be beyond me.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you - John

Well, this may sound weird, but I've had reasonable luck with using a small "pinch" of steel wool......

Quick fix: wrap a short piece of thin metal wire around the screw to snug it up.

Better fix: fill the holes with epoxy and redrill the holes

It's just a bezel, it won't go anywhere with just 2 screws in there so don't worry about it too much.

I found that a piece of the side of the plastic hole broke off.
I could only find part of what looks like is missing.
The depth of the hole appears to be 1/4 to 3/8 inch longer than the broken area.
I will try to find a longer screw and then see what is needed.
