Yep.  I'm talking about the problem people.   Just like the kkk is supposedly having a rally on the 18th in Carolina.   :brickwall:
These pieces of white trash are just looking for trouble and NOT what the good folks from the south need or want representing that flag.
I think it's pretty dam shitty that those that were killed in the church are being forgotten and a stupid thing like a flag is taking center stage.
I think that's a bigger disrespect to the victims.

I'M sorry if some African Americans are offended but guess what?   Do they want to know what offends us about their culture?    I think we're tired of supporting them in the ghettos.

supporting them in the ghettos ? really?

Dude he's certainly not talking about you. It's been said many times that both sides of this thing lump too many into these groups. Not all blacks are in the ghetto living on welfare and not all people who wave the rebel flag are racist pigs.

My problem with the flag hatred is this. He who is willing to take another's freedoms, deserves not freedom for themselves.

I tell you what, it's really pissing me off that the kkk is protesting for the flag.   In all honesty if I was a black American I'd be pissed and offended.   Like I said, I'm a white American and it Pisses me off.   I'm not a fan of the black Panthers and they are a lesser equivalent of the kkk in my opinion.   However, the black Panthers are the direct result and byproduct of the white supremacist asshats.   I think they need to hand that gunman from the church murders over to the black Panthers.
Justice served my friends.    :2thumbs:
I believe that rally is tomorrow so it's going to be interesting to see what happens and who starts the trouble if any.

Skip, you are dreaming about the black panthers. Which white supremacist group. The black panthers:The Black Panther Party (BPP) is a black extremist organization founded in Oakland, California in 1966. It advocated the use of violence and guerilla tactics to overthrow the U.S. government.

So screw the black panthers

Now that's what someone should have said a long time ago! The ones that are really the victims are those that are not here to either defend or disagree with this whole flag BS while the trash are still string the pot.
Personally this has nothing to do with people from the North trying to change the South and I can say that because I was born and raised in the North but happily and proudly live in the South, but what is really is going on here ya'll is we are caving into the PC morons plain and simple.  Again I am originally from the North and I never believed slavery was right but also never felt the Rebel flag was a symbol of hate and I still don't. If you find the Rebel flag offensive too bad for you. I find Rap music offensive.  When are we going to have a shit storm over that?  Too bad for me I'm stuck with it and forced to listen to it everywhere I go.  So I say deal with people who want to fly there flags just like I have to listen to crap.  Yes that is right.... Rap is just crap without the C

I find a lot of the internet offensive, several styles of music as well, but let bygones be bygones and use what works for me and let others do the same. (dislike Rap as well...but the last daughter insisted on blasting it in her room just to irritate me) Never tried to alter her tastes in music, thought guitar hero was gonna save me there for a while.  I rebelled by playing 70s and 80s heavy metal when disco was king.

There was a local support meeting this weekend near me, probably with good intentions but will likely draw the "rowdier younger crowd than I'd prefer, I'm still waiting on my flags to arrive, should get here next week.  Mounting the 2nd pole mount to get ready.  I'd be happier just seeing more people fly it at home without tainting a street with suspicion if several join in.

All they need to do is wait a few more generations, and they'll have their stupid self serving population afraid to offend anyone and surrender freedoms they won't defend.

By then we'll be too busy learning the language of our new rulers to worry about a flag on an orange Charger.

I think it is sad that the victims have been forgotten out of this. I also feel it is disappointing that there is no public outrage about the shooting at the Military recruiting center.  This kid (not unlike the SC shooter) is a troubled, misguided sick individual. If these two situations were being treated the same American media would be showing significant support for our military and going after extremist Muslims. Unfortunately it is not trendy to support the military and the media is too scared they will offend the Muslim community.

This should enrage all of us and motivate us to eliminate this threat but most will simply change the channel.

23 pages of opinions. I live in Columbia SC, It still amasses just how ignorant people can be. The North has a well established history of forcing their will upon the south. South Carolina raised the battle flag above the capital dome, in protest of civil rights. So, the flag was intended to be a reminder of slavery and oppression. How ever, where does the north get the right to dictate what is correct in the south? A quick google search will show that the north has the most segregated cities in the nation, some areas of new england is 99% white. I wonder if they have court supervised desegregation? The south had to deal with defeat, Shermans march to the sea, reconstruction, carpetbaggers,  and all sorts of other reminders over the years.
When that nutjob killed those 9, where was the rioting that other states have enjoyed? It did not happen in Charleston. as a matter of fact, the people that turned out to give support, seemed quite integrated. Then the Race baiters arrived, speeches, rallys on both sides, None of whom are residents of this state, and most are from the north. And still, no riots, or civil unrest. South Carolina may have made a few mistakes, But we certainly seem to be doing a better job than the north, who is still, the most segregated region of the US.

Being from a Military Family I could not agree more with you on this.  Well said and many more people need to really take a long hard look at how stupid this flag insistent is compared to the service men that just lost there lives on there home land.
