As my subject infers to, I need to identify the rockers in my engine. But before I start, here is a brief note on what I'm doing. Since getting the car going, have always been struggling with pre-ignition. Engine is a 1970 440, probably mild build but not sure, bought the engine from someone that had no idea of what was in it. Anyways, heads are 452 and I installed the Crower 32242. So recently with the advice from Ron, purchased the stealth heads from 440 Source. Sent them out to get the necessary upgrades. Unfortunately, ran into two problems. First one, after the heads were tucked away nicely onto the block, went to re-install the rocker shafts assembly (crane ductile adjustable). Whoever assembled the engine probably mixed up the rockers with another set. I have 7 of right adjuster offset and 9 of left adjuster offset. I need to order a single rocker from Summit to balance out the whole shebang. Problem is, how do you identify which is which. Here are the rockers from Summit, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/crn-64770r-1 and http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/crn-64770l-1/overview/. Also, the pic below shows them together as they should, I need another like the rocker on the right. The second problem is some of the pushrods now touch the bottom of the pushrod opening in the head. Talked to Ron last night and mentioned that is common with aftermarket aluminum heads. So need to do some grinding. Thanks for your help in advance.

All is good now  Quick call to Crane Cams, got the right one on order, Crane Steel and Ductile Iron Shaft Mount Rocker Arms 64770L-1. As far as the pushrods touching, theones in the motor are 3/8". Probably would have been a non issue if they were 5/16". Oh well, off to get a carbide tip grider for my dremell.

Quick update. After sending some pics of the rockers to Crane, they identified them as 1.5 ratio and that I needed the left offset. Also spent enough time grinding for pushrod clearance. After many mock ups of the rocker rail for trial fits, was getting nowhere. Again thanks Ron for lending me the carbide tip for the dremel, but I couldn't' get it deep enough to reach the bottom of the hole. So I took out the big guns; slapped a 1/2"  bit in my drill and went at her. Worked like a charm. Just had to keep an eye on the side thickness so I didn't' punch through into the other side. Just wondering if anyone else had clearance problems with the 440 source stealth heads  :shruggy: using 3/8" push rods. Anyways, everything is back together and running. Will be fine tuning it this morning and will take her out for a trial run. Also as a side note, just installed the front brake upgrade using all parts for a 78 Cordoba with 11 3/4" rotors, sliding calipers. All part are available at your local parts store except the caliper adapters which are now being reproduce (http://www.doctordiff.com/disc-brake-slider-caliper-mounts-backets-for-11-3-4-rotor-upgrade.html). Next will be the power brake unit I got from Pirate Jack (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-1970-Mopar-Bendix-Style-B-Body-Brake-Booster-Mopar-Master-Cylinder-Plate-/161544920345?hash=item259cd3dd19&vxp=mtr)
