What's the safest route to run fuel line inside engine compartment?

Just noticed that my 1969 Charger 318 has the fuel hose running within a few inches of the passenger side header.   Not liking this.  Any advice on the best was to run this so it stays clear or am I overthinking things?

myk

Well the stock fuel line hugged the block, for the most part.  Are you running stock or a different version of fuel line?  In any case, the fuel line is going to be close to dangerous sources no matter what you do; it's an engine compartment after all...

This is the line from the tank to the pump with the filter in between.

imo would not run rubber hose  , that far

Do I have to run a single, brand new line from the tank all the way forward or is there another option?

you can do  , think I might do that all in one piece , although you said you have a filter between tank & pump , so providing your fuel line is in good condition , could just run a new line , up the inside of the frame rail , like OEM & mount the filter /join  back side of the torsion bar cross member , see green arrow
