Defroster hose repair or exact duplicate?

So I have one perfect one one ripped defroster hose - pass side is bad.  The worst part is I did it myself w/ my new glove box insert.   

Anyway, the repos have an adapter to compensate for the different size ends.  I'm looking to repair mine or find a more accurate reproduction.  Anyone have any ideas/leads?  Anyone use the adapters?

No.  Factory defroster hose is 2 1/4 on one end and 2 1/2 half on the other.

They are reproduced.

Nope, not the same as original - spoke to them, they are the same diameter all the way across.  I figured someone would make an accurate reproduction.  The factory stuff is fragile, but I was hoping to avoid clamps or other such stuff.  Even the A- body ones up to 72 are different diameters - 2 1/4" at the inlet and 2 1/2" at the outlet.
