I am doing some videos and thought that I would post a smallish one that I threw together.   Have fun if you want to. As to the car, it's bone stock, numbers matching with about 47,000 miles, B7 Blue, 3:55s auto.  Click here to watch 1971-hemi-charger-ride Kim

That is awsome! That is only the second time I ever heard a Hemi run. The only other time was about 20 years ago in a old Belvadere.

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

Makes me drool for next month - the Charger comes out of hubernation up here!!!!!

Great video - love the license plate too!

Yeah, the video is a bit boring, sort of a combination of me getting older, respecting my little community, but mostly the cost and difficulty of finding parts and the hassle of cleaning off the rubber -- in its old age I treat it like a cream puff.

I am going to film a lot more and add some music with a narration.  The idea behind this video was small enough to get it hosted, emphasizing the unique sound of the engine through the four stock mufflers (okay, two mufflers and two resonators) and the body lines and drivability.  Until I got this car in 2000, I had seen only 3 hemis on the street in my life and am impressed with the easy drivability of the car. Come and see it in person at the shows in Northern California.  Kim

That was an amazing video! Already sent a link to it to some of my MOPAR buddies. Very few people have ever actually taken a ride in a HEMICAR! Reminds me of the old days when I went joy-riding in mine. What a rush! Always got "curbed" by someone wanting to look at it then try to buy it!! Still have mine!!

Pretty cool Kim. We all know what it can do. You don't have to prove anything to us.. UNLESS YOU WANT TO!!

:drool5:...I loved the sound of it when it came up the upramp onto the highway. Like Old Mopaz said...there should of been a burnout instead of a small "chirp". I think whoever was driving was a little light on the gas pedal. but overall pretty good
