WOW, lot of good detective work here! I'm not a super DMCL fan but liked the show...keep up the good work guys!!

Oh I forgot, I thought the drawbridge still hadn't been found.  What sites are still unaccounted for then, any?

FastbackJon

I spent a good couple hours looking on the map for the bridge where the cop goes into the water, couldn't find anything that resembled it. Screenshots are on one of the pages. Also don't think we've found the barn where the Impala was fixed. Wasn't even sure where to start looking for that one.

I just got through watching the movie again and man,  I am just about sick to my stomach for letting her slip through my hands ( my Charger not the charger killer lol ) I also transferred the audio portion of the DVD onto audio CD so I can listen to the entire movie in stereo in my trucks CD player, I did the same thing with Vanishing point. I picked up the Vanishing point music soundtrack CD and ripped it to my computer, then burned a very long playing CD with the program. I keep these in my truck so when I am cruising, i can listen to the DMCL movie or the VP soundtrack. people passing me or is it ME passing them ,must wonder while i am smiling :2thumbs:

On a somewhat related and coincidental note, a good friend of mine dropped off a Christmas gift for me today to hang in my garage.  It sure beats the 8 cans of imported Czech beer I gave him.

I realize now that  if i would have thought forward 30 years i would never have just given her away like i did, someone got it from the dealership that took it, and never knew what they got, it may still be out there, i would like to see it again if i did, i would just know it was the right charger just by sitting in it. a famous car returned to everyday status. who knows, one of the members here just might own it and not realize it. someone has it if it is still on the road.

Bert, any idea on where the canal is that they pushed the cop into?

GHOSTI,  I am pretty sure it was along  eight mile road, We cruised through the walnut groves and it was me, my buddy paul, and  pre charger killer. We drove into downtown Linden  and pulled into BILLS bar/grill  where they filmed the pool game. when we were there we parked the charger in the back and my charger is the VERY one that you see going through town and pulling into Bills and parking in the back, we did the same thing. The scenes I know for sure it was in were a lot of the interior shots, the cruise into linden, filling up and pulling the Gas hose off of the gas pump. There was a deep  scratch  along the filler cap so i assume thats what caused it.My car is the one where they ran though the old hwy 99 junction when the big roadblock broke up. The location schedule mentioned  several locations on eight mile road, Do you remember when larry was "bustin out"                  and dekes says " YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT ROAD CONDITIONS FOR THIS KIND OF DRIVING !!! larrys says "TOUGH"     BUMP and they hit the big bump across the road ? well, we found that bump and if you watch the scene, they hit it a little later since they were going up and down and all around in those walnut groves. I would like to spend about 2 days out there to take my time and look around, part of HWY 88 is close to me here in nevada.
