2 years of labor and finally seeing the light! 383 factory air. Car was rotten when I got it, but thanks to AMD, it was brought back. Still needs finished but I have never shared my ride on here. Installing trans this weekend.

Gorgeous car! Are you going to bumble bee stripe it?

Monziac

Thanks!!!  They were NOS 70's Fenton Vecmasters I cleaned them up polished and painted them.  Color is a 68 Camaro Cortez Silver.  Yes, stripe is coming just want to wait until a bunch of stuff is done incase I have to respray the trunk or something like that.  :-)

Here is a pic of what I started with.  I replaced roof, floor, trunk, both quarters, rockers, fenders but I was able to save a washer and the VIN.   :icon_smile_big:

Real Nice Charger! You really took on a project not many would attempt. Color looks great, but I am partial to metallic's   :2thumbs:

Wow! great job on bringing the Charger back to life!  I agree the wheels look great with the color of the car.  Are you going to paint the stripe on or use a vinyl one?

You, sir, are to be commended. Takes balls to attempt a resurrection of the likes of that.  :2thumbs:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Looks great!
That is a big reward for a lot of effort.

Car looks great- that first pic looks just like the view of the purple charger in the movie Christine. Eerily similar...

Thank you all! It was hard at times thinking "What the hell did I get myself in to?" But now I just stare at it. See, the guy I bought it from was gonna cut it up as a parts car and it was complete down to a charged AC system. Knowing how rare these are I offered him $4k and took it home.  Motor actually ran but tranny was bad.  It was a bondo beast. I have several GM cars but never had a Dodge. A lot of stuff is different so a lot of learning. I hope to drive it in the fall.

Thanks,
Jon
