of course it was set up, but how cool to be that age (the kids) and "find something like that in a barn


I mean, if that was me at 12ish year old...i would have fainted finding that car. Whoever the dad is, he did a great thing there by surprising his kids 

A memory they will never forget!

There is a lot of truth to that. Sometimes the dads project more interest and the kids just play along.

I remember one day I was in my GL on a roadtrip and this guy chased me down. He told me how much he loved the GL and his son loves it just as much. He offered to pay me to go out of my way to show up at his house with it so his son could see it. After 10 minutes of hearing this kid was into the show and that car, I decided to go (for free). The dad was excited at seeing his sons face.

We show up and this teenager comes out of the house with his nose in his cell phone..he looks up and says "Oh, cool", nose back in the phone and turned around to go back inside. The father was aghast with the kids reaction. Dad says "You love this car!" The kid responded "I was like 8 dad. Can I go back inside now?"  

That is the reality more often than not....
