Hello all!

I just put new BFG tires on my 68RT thinking they were the cause of my front end vibration over 50 mph.
Well they weren't.
Please help!
Any ideas?
thanks much

How old are the lower control arm bushings? Those seem to cause vibration that gets worse as speed increases. Does the vibration change any going around corners?

It's possible that your front rims may be a problem. Have you had them checked for lateral and radial run-out?

I've used my dial indicator in the past, but recently found a Tire Shop nearby that has a Hunter Road Force Variance tire balance machine. They can check the rims for run-out and if they're within specs. I have them go ahead and balance the tires. If not, I find a better rim.
It's worked out quite well for me.
