My wife and I made the trip over to Alabama to visit the WMM.  Got there about noon, and had the place to ourselves for over an hour.  Steve ( a volunteer ) walked us around giving the history of the cars, and answering any questions we had.  :nana:

What an awesome display of some of Chrysler's most prestigious examples of automotive history.

Kudo's to Mr Wellborn for a top notch operation...

Anyone who finds themselves in the southeast owes it to themselves to visit this fine facility.  :drool5:

I can't figgure out how/why the pics are double posting!!!!  :brickwall:   (better doubled, than non at all....)

And to think he's sold some of his collection off to make room for other things; as if his collections wasn't stunning enough already!

Nice shots!  Does he own all the cars in the museum? Looks like the F8 Hemi '69 Charger has FL plates?

I thought that sunroof GTX sold at Mecum?
Chris' '69 Charger R/T

Beav

Unsure of the GTX...

Thr F8 car  :drool5:  :drool5:  :drool5: does NOT belong to him.  On loan for demonstration.

Glad you had a nice time!  To bad I just missed you, I left a few days before.  Also Tim has bought a few cars that will soon be filtering through the Museum.

The "Most Loaded" Hemi GTX is still in the collection, it did not go to auction.

Some very cool stuff over there!

The '68 is awesome for sure.  The F8 '69 is absolutely incredible.... I'd LOVE to see that car out in the sun.  :coolgleamA:

I'd bet that white interior would be really tough to keep clean.  :yesnod:

Sorry I missed ya Devil, but I'll be back many times.

Already plan on making the Winged car meet in Oct!  :2thumbs:

I was there the 27th of Feb. Actually got to meet Tim. He is a very nice and genuine guy. The wife and I were there about 3 hours. It was simply amazing to see.
If you are a 71 Charger nut like me, it's the place to go.
