727? trans?

Sorry, I am not a mopar expert more of a fan.

My friend says that ATF keeps appearing underneath, he is wondering if the trans mount bolts go thru to the inside and need sealer?

I see the Edelbrock heads require intake bolt sealant and the water pump bolts had to be sealed because they protrude into the coolant.

The bolt holes don't go through to fluid.

Leaks in that area are usual from the gasket that seals the steel plate above the mount. The narrow plate with two countersunk screws covers a slot that provides access to the tail bearing snap ring.

Before tearing into anything, spray brake clean over the entire area and determine the actual source of the leak.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
