shoulder belt elastic stretched out. Who has replaced theirs?

On the 68 B-bodies , the shoulder belts have the elastic that snaps into the ceiling by the coat hook.  Over the years they get brittle and stretched out.
Anybody redid their?  it looks like waistband elastic that can be gotten at fabric stores.

Getting mine done now too as a matter of fact.  Basically just followed what Chris did in that other thread.

About twenty-five years ago. I redid the elastic, I used the 1/2" wide elastic band.  I had measured the original ones at that time and they were 1/2" wide from the factory.  The 3/4" elastic in the link is a little larger but does look good.
I used the RIT dye and dyed the white elastic dark green.
For the person that put up the link showing the turquise green elastic; what dye did you use?
