Anyone got any idea why it has just a single RH head rest?  It says it on the build sheet and you can see it in the pics.  :shruggy:

Bob T

Its like the red head orphan stepchild R/T , I couldn't own it and drive it with pride any day of the week  , nicely restored car though apart from the aforementioned exhaust tips.
Maybe it needs a buddy seat and column shift to complete the interior trifecta and hit the winning rock.
Ugly combo brand new is still ugly combo 46 years later.

If it was a 69 I'd really dis on it

Technically, dual headrests wasn't required in 1969 until was federally mandated on new cars starting January 1st, 1969.  Window sticker shows sold new to Canada dealer so law may not apply?  I also can't see the fender tag, broadcast or window sticker well enough to get an idea of when it was built.

To answer your question, you could've ordered left, right, or both as options before they became standard.

gotta knock some money off for missing battery hold down

Since we're being picky....it has a Holley w/electric choke, wheel trim rings should be brushed w/space inbetween the rim and ring painted black.  Also it has J55 undercoating option which should also include a hood insulation pad. :icon_smile_wink:   All easy fixes.  :yesnod:

I would like to see a photo of the actual Fender Tag as it relates to how the car is equipped ?
vrs
The Sales Transaction/Pricing Sheet ?

Curious about a few things.

Are those "sales" sheets re-popped somewhere ?

Yes, the window sticker could be a reproduction, but the build sheet certainly looks authentic.  Plus with Galen's Certification as the real deal, its easy to get a window sticker duplicated.  I'm also curious as to why the fender tag wasn't photographed.  :shruggy:

The car is priced $49,990 CND.  Compare that to recent cars sold on tv auctions this month, and $40,274 USD seems pretty damn reasonable..... :Twocents:  Someone in the Northwest should be hauling this thing home.....looks like a 7hr drive north of Spokane, WA area (550 miles)

Some poor editing on the quotes here but in the op it indicates C13.  ;)  (so yes, before the mandated headrests)

Tom68

I see you didn't have to have head rests, but why would anyone order just one?

So, in a rear end collision, the driver gets his neck broken, but the passenger is OK.  I guess I see the logic there.   :scratchchin:

Awesome Charger, tho.

if it wasn't a demo car I'd say it was so the wife had somewhere to rest her head while sleeping the miles away  :scratchchin:

Demonstrate what?

"Hey, y'all...watch this.  (check, check , check)   Let's see if... (check , check)...them ol' boys at the fak-tree...(check)...will cree-ate this ugly-assed vee-hicle."

Most of us would KILL for the opportunity to waltz into a dealer and spec-out a car from a grocery list of options.     :rotz:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.  Some folks probably think my car is ugly.

Ghoste

As an fyi, the A01 code is not a white vinyl top, its for the light group.  Interestingly there is another 69 with a VIN very very close to this one that was also built for Canada.  Similar equipment but a more accepted color scheme.

D'oH ,  never saw C13   :cryin:   I never read the description text propperly , only skimmed through looking for the original color combination  ;)  & just  tried to read as much of  window sticker  & broad cast sheet as possible  :P

Nice car for sure. But I would for sure have to add the drivers side headrest and change the colors....

Challenger340

I am surprised it is only at $29K thus far on Ebag ?
but 8 days left, so bound to go higher closer to the end.
Should be interesting to watch :2thumbs:
IMO,
VERY NICE Charger, they don't get much better than that, no matter the colors.

Since we are all speculating here.

Say during the resto the interior was changed out to black or tan. Increase the value ? decrease the value ? no effect ?

I get its rare but i'd think they buyers market would be a lot larger if it was blk, white, tan ?
