Australian or New Zealander guys, I have a question (Flight of the Concords)

My wife and I where watching flight of the Concords and she asked if there's some real life rivalry between Australians and New Zealanders like they portray on the show? Do y'all dislike each other. If you've seen the show you'll know what they say and I was just wondering is all. Thanks.

Lol. Nice video. It's like that between the two towns on the coast where I grew up. We hate each other and would fight each other all the time. But if we where at a bar and there was shit from someone that was from this town inland we would have each others back
I'm curious to see opinions of guys that also have seen the show, too now

I think all of those actors are from Australia aren't they ?

Yeah true enough, plenty of rivalry for years dating back to when some of England's finest judges were deciding how to populate the colonies 
But yeah, when the chips are down we would back each other up. I've worked in Aussie a few times and there is always plenty of friendly insults around.
