Very sad news to pass on for norcal gear heads. The Peggy Sue Car Show and Cruise
held in Santa Rosa, Calif. is cancelled for this year and quite
possibly for good.
The folks who put this fantastic show together (1000 cars last year),
Peggy and Richard Williams have posted on the website that Richard
has stage 4 Lymphoma cancer.
I spoke with one of the board members and none of the other
members could take it on and they didn't want to sell the rights
to the show because it would become huge commercial event
geared toward making money.
Rich and Peggy have pretty much broken even putting the show on
for all these years and wanted to keep it "grassroots" so to speak.
