Hi,

I'm sure others will join in but, I'll start the ball rolling. Front or rear frame rails ? And, do you have a MIG welder and know how to use it well?

I'm pretty sure if the frame rails are in trouble you're going to find a lot of other "surprises" as you get into replacing them. I'll leave it to the other second generation owner's here tell you about their experiences.

i do have a mig welder, I'm waiting for surprises as such ,   every owned a land rover you'll know what i mean haha.   but its all i do in my time so welding and such doesn't bother me.    do you know if it spot welded etc kind of what i mean,   i was talking about the rear rails sorry i should of mentioned it.

Mig is the way to go. Whatever you find you'll make
it better than new!
