LA Engine Block Heaters

Gentlemen I have not posted up much at all, just lurked and searched. I am having a problem with a recently installed Zerostart block heater and looking for advice, solution, etc... I installed one of these on my Scout and have had no problems so I am perplexed! I installed on my Charger 318 driverside second freeze plug location. It is making noise like it is boiling the antifreeze. I unplugged and let sit for about one full day in really cold weather then plug in again and with in about 30 secs I heard noise again. I then unpluged and listen to the noise for about one minute. Did I put the block heater in the wrong freeze plug hole? Has anyone experienced this before?
