'70 Charger…….. Questions

I have some questions I need help answering for my friend.  He's building a '70 Charger drag car. He bought the car with work started on it by previous owner, Tubbed, narrowed rear, fabbed rear rails, etc....  The car was originally a big block car (383) with manual front discs. He bought new pre-bent brake lines through "Fine Lines". He figured he would buy a new master cylinder as well since everything is off the car for paint work in the engine bay. The master that was on the car appears to have been a 1971 style. The parts store tells him the "correct" master for a big block (non-Hemi) have the brake line ports on the passenger side of the master. So that is what he bought. The problem we are coming up against is that the ports are larger and smaller so the lines can only go one way.....everything lines up perfectly as far as bends and such to the prop. valve. But the fittings on the lines are opposite of what the master ports are.  I tried to help by referencing and comparing the configuration on the '70 Super bee in my garage (also originally a 383 car with manual front discs.) but the master has the ports on the driver's side of the master cylinder. So this was no help.

My first question is, Did we get the wrong lines..... the wrong master, or could "fine lines" have possibly put the fittings on the wrong tubes? 

My second question is, does anyone know where we can get a, (or has an extra they are willing to sell) stud that is pressed into the plate that the master mounts to?.....

Wrong master cylinder.  Correct MC has ports on driver side.  You need four studs and nuts pressed into MC.  Wayne at www.theramman.com has as many as you need.  He is not pricey on those items.
