L1  with red interior 

A red interior was a recommended combination with L1 so the combo isn't that big of a deal. L1 is not a common color on '69 Coronets and especially a Bee.

Without seeing the tag, it's doubtful this was a 'special order'. People confuse an 'ordered' car with a true 'special order' car.

I see body color through the grill - so the paint must have been an original can from an original auto paint supply house.

I'll be in that country in about two weeks, doing a little hunting off of a jet-boat.  I'll have to check with some of the natives as to who this might be. It is possible that I know the owner.

 never knew   it was a recommended color combo on a coronet  ,   kind of for got  the coronet line had more color combinations than a 69 charger   ,

Just looks like Y3 without the Y chromosome.  nice to see other rarely seen colors.  Y3 wasn't common either.
