Beautiful Job Brian.
Will you be bringing it to either Carlisle or the nats this yr?
Also, I'm assuming it was AMD quarters & valance caps that you used? did you have any major issues with them, or were you happy overall with the quality?
Thanks
I am also interested in how you installed the quarters with the valance corners.

Even though it's a 1969 and it's triple green, I absolutely love what you did to that car :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:

I did use Amd quarters, but the valance and corners were ok,and didn't get replaced. I didn't have to add any metal to the seam where the corners meet the quarter.

As for the quality of the quarters. They are a million times better than being stuck with a seam running the length of the panel , but they do have their issues. They always need either a bunch of pick and file work. Of a light coat of filler.
If you go back in this thread it shows when I installed the quarters.

I will not be at Carlisle or the nats , but maybe mopars on the Mississippi in Dubuque Iowa in August.

Nice work!

Can you characterize about how many hours each phase took you - disassembly, body work, paint, assembly, etc.  With the caveat that it is this particular car with you as someone who knows what they are doing... big round numbers are okay, just looking for something I can multiply by 3 and shoot for!  It'd be nice to have some perspective.

I really don't pay attention to that on my own Chargers.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Sometimes dark green looks like black and vise versa.

Kinda like Turbins old 68.

Ghoste

So is it going to appear at any of the larger shows this year?

Charger-Bodie

unfortunately for me the larger shows are too far away to drive to. Plus, We haven't been on a vacation (that wasn't me working on a car) in like 8 years. So will be going to Myrtle Beach later this summer. I'm not real big on the car show thing anyway. Lots of time spent babysitting a car. And its certainly not done to any sort of oem spec.

Yeah but its purty and we want to see it.  ;)

(I get it though and those are all pretty valid reasons, especially the family vacation one)

Stunning Charger, Brian! Great work as always!

On a side note... I'd like to see some pics of the C-10. I know I'm a Mopar guy, but I have always liked the 67-72 Chevy pickups, I had a 1970 C-10 SWB when I was younger, It was a driver with the ole dependable 250 straight six with a 3 speed column shifter, but it was solid truck in good shape. I actually sold it right after I bought my 69 R/T, to start buying parts for it.

yep... absolutely fantastic job there Brian, you are a very talented guy  :2thumbs:

Any details on the 472 Crate Engine ? From Mopar ?

Great job Brian.  I really enjoyed reading your thread and seeing the video.  If we ever get up that way, maybe we'll be able to see it in person....Brian
