Posts deleted?

Is there a reason some of my posts have been deleted?  There have been a few threads I joined in on, and when I went back to follow up on other replies, found mine were gone.  What gives?  I find it very discouraging.

It shows you posted 17 times next to your avatar, and it shows all 17 posts in your profile.  Are you sure you hit the "Post" button and not the "Preview" button instead?

I'm looking through the logs and don't see anything. Were they old posts or something new? We don't delete anything around here (except Classified ads).

They were recent posts, and some threads were very active.  I usually know how far to go back based on where my post was and I couldn't find them. I'll look again, thanks  guys!
