Any good websites/books that show how to do a cam swap step by step?

Next spring I'd like to remove the old purple cam and install a Crower 32240.  The thing is, I've never done anything like this before.  I would really like to leave the engine in for various reasons so I'll start by having the A/C system vacuumed so I can remove the condensor.  I'll remove the radiator, intake manifold, valve covers, alternator, fuel pump and push rod, water pump, timing chain cover, oil pan.  And that's where I'm pretty much going to be stuck.  So I need a bit of a how to guide to finish the job right and in a timely fashion as I don't have much of the latter.  Advice welcome and appreciated.

Readers Digest version:
At that point you call me and we'll remove the harmonic balancer (need 1 1/4" socket, breaker bar or impact & puller) dist. drive gear, rocker arms, push rods, lifters, timing chain & gears. Attach a long bolt to the cam for leverage and pull it out carefully.
Clean all parts. Install new crank seal & lube. Lube cam. Install carefully. Lube new lifters and install. Align new timing gears & chain and install. Apply sealer to gaskets and close the engine up. I found it necessary to loosen the oil pan for the timing cover to match up to the pins w/the new piece of oil pan gasket in place. Paint engine.  ;D
Reattach everything, set timing, fill carb and fire it up. Break in cam, go for a ride.  :2thumbs:

Now here's where I talk you into pulling your engine, stripping the engine bay and painting said engine bay like you did to me.  :smilielol:

Make sure you call me when you start this. If you detach everything I will help you open up the engine and go from there. I can bring my cordless impact and air tools out which will speed up the process.
I'd like to take you for a ride to give you an idea of what a factory spec cam would do. You put your car away yet? Mine has been put up a week and a half ago but not before putting 52 miles on it. I gave the secondaries a good test!  :2thumbs:

LMAO

Thanks Jeff, I'll be sure to call you.

I would like to pull the engine and take care of everything under the hood but I'll have to think about it, I won't have a ton of time and I don't want the car to sit all summer again.  I figured I could concentrate on making the engine run good and take care of the visuals later, when Iinstall a T-56 for instance.   :yesnod:

I put the car in storage a week ago but it's only 10 minutes from me so it's easy to go get it.

I do have the 1 1/4" socket but I don't have a breaker bar yet, just a ratchet.

Over the winter I'm going to rebuild the Edelbrock 1406, I merely cleaned it up the last time, and I also want to get that drip in the TQ fixed.  I have new well seals for it but they seem a bit thin so the air horn does not sit proud before tightening the bolts.  I probably should use the 1406 to use for the cam break in.
