This should be simple enough. Will rear bumper brackets from a 1972 Dodge Coronet be the same as rear bumper brackets from a 1972 Dodge Charger?

Thanks in advance

Thanks guys
There is a 1972 Dodge Coronet sitting here at a local yard. Hard to believe since everything is 1990 & up for the majority of this place.

Has it got the door straps? Should be 4 on that baby?

Nope no such luck.................how about this rear vinyl roof trim (see pic 2)? Also I should grab that rear windshield.

ODZKing

Dunno about the trim, but I didn't realize they still used those door arm rests and handles in 72. From the pic they look to be in great shape.
Especially the one with the ash tray. They go back to 66 Charger, I'd grab 'em all!

Nacho-RT74

nothing will fit on a Charger. glasses and vinyl trim are diff

Not true, as mentioned the door handles and arm rests go back to at least 66. I've got them on my 67.  :yesnod:

I think Nacho was just referring to the rear glass & roof trim and not the arm rest

How about the rear windshield trim? You don't see it in the picture because I already grabbed it. Also I'm pretty sure that the front windshield trim is the same as Charger, I grabbed that also.

Thanks

Nacho-RT74

nop, no one glass will fit so neither trim except front bottom... Charger windshield is taller and wider on top... I know corners are diff part number but I grabbed mine from a 73 coronet and they fit. If some angle diff due the diff glass angle, is unnapreciable

correct, nothing of the body will fit... some other stuff maybe... Well obviouslly dash, firewall ( since both are 72 B body, and firewall is what makes the body allong with front section of unybody, but talking about the "fuselage" )

arm rest and some other stuff won't fit either on a 72 LOL

Does it have an 8 3/4 rear end ?

Does it have disc brakes on the front ?

Dash pad any good ?

Does it have an 8 3/4 rear end ? Yes it did but gone by time I went there for a 2nd visit. Did not have major tools with me when I discovered it the first time. Then again I wasn't expecting to run across an early 70 B Body either :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

Dash pad any good ? Core status only and green. That is in my possession.
